Ryhope FC Over 35's - 1983/1984

The only records of playing for Ryhope are the following three reports showing wins over Washington Star. The first report appeared in the Football Echo on the 18th March 2006 and is obviously from the same game as the second report. The winning goal was scored by Keith Hemborough. Keith, who I played with at both Ryhope CA and Silksworth 'Buffs', was never known as a goalscorer but he was always capable of notching the odd, and often important, goal. He scored 8 goals in 15 games for Ryhope CA in the 1968/1969 season.

As my memory dosn't recall much about this season I presume I didn't play too many games. Names that come to mind, who may have been there, are Ronnie Christie  Manager,  Norman Baird, Brian Baird, Gordon Baird (all brothers), Frankie Gilmore and Stan Cowie. I appologise to the other players for remembering very little about this season. If anyone can help I would love to hear from you.
